Le 18 mai 2002, nos \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont pu appr\u00e9cier la beaut\u00e9 des paysages, des tables salantes aux eaux roses au milieu d\u2019une faune et flore exceptionnelles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unique en Europe, entre Sel et Mer, au c\u0153ur d’une nature sauvage et pr\u00e9serv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A quelques encablures du Grau du Roi Port Camargue<\/strong> se lovent les vastes \u00e9tendues du territoire des Salins du midi<\/strong><\/a>, \u00e0 Aigues Mortes, dont l\u2019existence remonte au Moyen \u00c2ge. D\u2019une superficie \u00e9quivalente aux vingt arrondissements de Paris, les salins occupent un important espace entre la mer et les remparts d\u2019Aigues Mortes.
Faits de multiples tables salantes, qui prennent une couleur ros\u00e9 lorsque la saturation en chlorure de sodium est \u00e0 son comble, les salins constituent un lieu d\u2019accueil pris\u00e9 par les colonies de flamants roses.
Aliment\u00e9es d\u2019eau de la mer m\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, elles sont le lieu de production de sel alimentaire et industriel et de la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Fleur de Sel de Camargue r\u00e9colt\u00e9e manuellement. \u00a0
